Balmain – Spring Summer 2011 Men’s Collection

PARIS – I think that the most interesting Men’s Collection for next summer is that one designed by Christophe Decarnin for Balmain. Too rockabilly, skinny, very sixties, extremely essential, coloured in the right way. Nothing to do with the preppy style so up to day in these days (see our post dedicated to J. Crew). Descarnin’s man is sexy, selfish, selfconshious, rebel, a bit fetish and not at all frivoluos. I bet anything that the fucsia bike jacket will be one of the it-piece of the season: really hip.
