Cannes Film Festival 2011

CANNES – Some days ago I wrote a post dedicated to faye Dunaway and to her disruptive charisma, defining her as one of the greatest icons of seventies, with Gitte Lee and Stevie Nicks.

I reasoned out so much about this choice: I was torn beetwen Jane Birkin, Florinda Bolkan, Marisa Berenson, Candy Darling and many others. But at least the most credible, true and, above all, the most fashinating was Faye.

In the affiche of the next Cannes Film Festival, we will find Miss Dunaway in an astonishing photo shooted by Jerry Schatzberg in 1970, after they work togheter, as starring actress and as director, at that “very complicate” movie well known as “Puzzle of a Downfall Child”.

Great choice!
