TOKYO – If Geography was your favorite topic at school and in your small bedroom there was a lovely globe, maybe it’s time for you to give a look to Nendo, a jap design company, that creates CORONA, a black-and-white globe that revolutionize edges of design transforming itself in a truly conceptual artwork.

Just 2 colors, black for lands and white for seas: an optical effect that reveals also the teeny-weeny island lost in the ocean. Then, slight lines indicates meridians. At last, only the names of continents and towns. That is all… because, when all is said, dreams need nothing more.

And, you know, no frace of the vulcano: what a wonderful world!

Corona is designed by Watanabe Kyogu, it is in production from the beginning of 2010 and you can choice it in three versions: board classic, 26 cm of diameter, floor model at 110 cm tall, and the little globe that is delightful with his 15 cm of diameter.
