Sports Style

Sport has style, this is true. Over records, performances, support and sweat, sport influences our taste and it is, at the same time, influenced by moods and trends. A really strong connection, demontrated by the way Leisure-wear and Sport-wear are replacing formal clothing… and not only during the week-end!

Many sports, year after year, still remain elegant: golf and horse-riding allow very few to modernity. Other sports were able to re-invent themeselves, according space to science and technology: look at ski and, in general, at all winter sports.

At last, there are discipline that deteriorate their look with the process of time, loosing allure and gaining in dowdiness. Soccer and Tennis are a clear example.

I found this photo on the web: today players can not reach the easy look of these champions of the seventies. What a sin.
