Vionnet – Past meets present
PARIS – Modemoiselle Vionnet was one of the greatest protagonist of Paris Haute Couture beetwen the two World Wars, revolutionating sartorial tecniques e redesigning complitely the feminine silhouette. She invented the “oblique cut” and she was undisputed master in the art of drape and in the play of proportions.
Today, her inheritance is collected by Rodolfo Paglialuga that comes out well, with so much talent, to renovate and actualize the maison’s style readjusting it to the taste and the desires of modern women.
Next winter collection is full of contrasts: white, black / vivid colors, long / short, essential lines / elaborate drapes, semplicity / flashy details. Astonishing!
